Earth Centred Practices for Health & Other Professionals – Online event International Womens Day 8 March 2022 7.30 pm to 9 pm (AEST)

A 90 minute professional development webinar on 8 Feb 2022 for Health & Other Professionals offering earth connection practices and insights to be used as part of everyday self care within professional practice.

Together we will:

  • Create a healthy container to be in and operate from during practice
  • Acknowledge and learn from the teachings of natures rhythms & cycles
  • Offer a feminine re-shaping of “Maslow’s Hierachy of needs”

Karen Knowles leads this special event for International Womens Day for health and other practitioners to empower women in their practices so they avoid burn out and move towards the creation of a wellspring of self care easily accessible during private practice. Karen will be joined by former psychologist and Wayapa Wuurrk practitioner Bec Dunn, a farmer’s daughter who has a strong bond with mother earth and a strong call to regenerate soil and work in harmony with the natural world.

Karen and Bec share a joint love and respect of country and the many lessons that we all can learn when we maintain humble listening eyes and ears.

Karen will lead participants through awareness and embodiment practices to allow space and create a witnessing perspective for self awareness so practitioners can work with this as a regular practice. Working from the base of Maslow’s work we will then offer a revised evolving “Hierachy of Needs” taking into account feminine perspectives and principles of regenerative, cyclical practices.

Bec will provide tips on ways to observe country and the lessons and models we can draw and learn from such awareness

A Q&A session will follow where we will discuss:

  1. how can we live and practice more in tune with nature’s cycles and rhythms
  2. An Autumn Audit – as we move into the Autumn Equinox we will discuss what worked for people this year, what is it best to keep or throw away, what values do I want to embed in my practice and how can I do this?
