We are no longer running School Holiday Workshop Programs unless we receive a specific request in advance by a large group where we will be happy to accomodate during some School Holidays, given sufficient advance notice.

WEEKEND WORKSHOP

Working with Musicians Workshop (for 10 year olds to adults)

Weekend Working with Musicians Workshop - held in a professional rehearsal room with sound equipment and three professional musicians. Participants experience the real thing of stepping beyond just focussing on the vocal and start to sing with other musicians to create music together. Senior teachers Karen Knowles and Nick Roy lead participants through the process of singing as a musician, amending vocal delivery and dynamics according to the input and changes in musical structure offered by the small band. Suitable for participants wishing to experience improvising with musicians and taking the next steps towards performance. Many students attend these workshops multiple times and have new learnings and experiences each time. Suitable also for beginners - the important thing is to get started and build confidence over time. Held as a full day Saturday workshop bi-annually. Be sure to book early to avoid disappointment. Suitable for students aged 10 to adult.
