The Karen Knowles Singing School is committed to helping students develop their singing abilities and achieve their aspirations and goals in the singing industry. In order to achieve this, we require the smooth administration of the school’s facilities. As such, your knowledge and adherence to the School’s term and conditions listed below would be very much appreciated.
Payment & Place Confirmation
A student’s place will only be confirmed when full payment is received and the enrolment form/re-enrolment form completed and submitted three (3) weeks prior to the commencement of the Term or Workshop. Enrolment and re-enrolment forms can be obtained through the school’s website.
For Individual lessons and Small Group lessons, only a tentative time will be given to you upon booking and confirmation. You will be notified of the confirmed time when full term payment has been received.
Class times and teachers are subject to change (eg: teachers’ illness/availability and/or venue availability). All reasonable care will be taken to give notice to students in such circumstances.
Students who decide to discontinue their classes halfway through the term are not guaranteed a refund. Refunds are subject to their spot being able to be filled or rescheduled. An administration fee of $50 will apply for all cancellations.
Students who are not able to make it for a class are requested to inform the School at least 48 hours before their class. Subject to teacher and time availability, an arrangement for a make-up class may be organized but cannot be guaranteed. All last minute class cancellations will have to be forfeited due to payment for teacher’s time and venue.
As a safety requirement, we request that parents remain with their children if they are dropped off at the venue earlier than their session and be picked up on time. The School and teachers are not able to supervise their students before and after class times.
A maximum of two make-up classes are permitted per term. In order to qualify for a make-up class see non-attendance requirements above and Make Up Classes must be completed within the term that they relate to. Times for make-up classes are to be agreed with the student and teacher directly.
